Latisse

How do I use it?

Latisse® is used at night, on a clean face after makeup and contact lenses are removed.

One drop is applied to the supplied applicator brush and brushed along the eyelash line of the top lashes of one eye only.

Repeat on other eye with a new applicator brush using the same technique. It's that easy!

Are there any side effects?

The most typical are an itching sensation to the upper lid and/or eyes and/or eye redness. This was reported in approximately 4% of patients. Latisse® solution may cause other less common side effects, typically closer to the skin where the solution was applied including eye darkening, eye irritation, dry eyes, and redness of the eyelids and should diminish after discontinuation of product use. Reports of iris (the colored part of the eye) discoloration was reported in a small number of patients in which bimatoprost was used directly into the eye for glaucoma. No reports of eye discoloration have been made in patients using Latisse® for the treatment of hypotrichosis, though there is a minimal risk. Persons with green or hazel eyes may have an increased chance of pigment deposits, which is likely to be permanent.

Who should not use Latisse®?

Persons with a history of abnormal eye pressures or glaucoma should only use Latisse® under the supervision of their ophthalmologist.

Persons scheduled for eye surgery or who have an eye infection should not use Latisse® unless cleared by the treating ophthalmologist.

Pregnant women should not use Latisse®.

Anyone hypersensitive or allergic to any componant of bimatoprost (Lumigan®) should not use Latisse®.

When will I see results?
